General sale to non-members is rare at Liverpool and usually only for lower-demand fixtures.

Liverpool ticket sales are staggered: members with enough previous-season games go first, then all members, then the general public, each phase usually lasting 24–48 hours.

Members must register for the Additional Members' Sale on a game-by-game basis, with registration opening approximately two weeks before each fixture.

The Additional Members' Sale offers returned tickets about 7–10 days before each home league game, first-come-first-served with no ballot, priority going to members with more credits.

Liverpool's Auto Cup Scheme lets season-ticket holders and All Red members opt in to auto-secure home cup tickets (European, FA Cup, EFL Cup); once enrolled seats are automatically allocated and an automated payment is taken, but if payment fails the seat is released, so a ticket is not absolutely guaranteed.

The Liverpool bulk members' sale is for Premier League home games only, one ticket per game per eligible membership.

For Liverpool cup home games (European, FA Cup and League Cup) a credit is earned by buying a match ticket in any club sale, but not by receiving a ticket via Ticket Forwarding or as a Seasonal Hospitality member. The credit balance determines eligibility to enrol in the Auto-Cup Scheme and to buy in match-by-match sales after the draw.

For 2026/27, Liverpool supporters with a credit balance of 13 or more match credits get guaranteed access to all 19 Premier League home games.

For Liverpool Premier League away games a credit is earned by buying a match ticket, but no credit is earned if the supporter is successful in the hospitality ballot for that game.

Liverpool match credits only count towards ticket eligibility if the supporter is a season ticket holder or a member, and a supporter holds a separate credit balance for each competition, split between home and away.

Liverpool supporters holding 4 to 12 match credits are eligible to register for all 19 Premier League home games for 2026/27, but registration is not a guarantee of a ticket.

Liverpool supporters with less than 4 match credits can register for most Premier League home games in 2026/27, but are excluded from Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and the final home game of the season. Those fixtures may become available through Additional Members Sales closer to the game.

If you buy a Liverpool ticket and then forward it, you are not eligible to buy another ticket for that game.

Liverpool Ticket Forwarding (introduced 2023-24) replaced the old Ticket Distribution system and lets holders pass a seat to their Friends & Family list.

On the Liverpool Ticket Exchange, season-ticket holders and members can resell a seat at 100% face value; only eligible All Red members can buy, and it stays open until one hour before kick-off.

To receive a forwarded Liverpool ticket you must be on the holder's Friends & Family list (editable until 1 September); you do not need an All Red membership but must download a General Admission NFC Pass.

A new Liverpool member has effectively no chance of buying an official away-end ticket.

Liverpool away tickets are sold by an away credit balance: supporters with the most away credits get priority to buy first, descending through credit bands, with additional first-come-first-served sales before each match (max ten per transaction). From 2026/27 the balance is multi-year: cup aways count the previous three seasons, but Premier League aways count 2025/26 credits only in 2026/27 and reach three seasons in 2028/29.

Liverpool does not offer an away season ticket; away tickets are sold match-to-match to season-ticket holders and members.

Sitting in the home end at an away ground is only for that club's home fans — never wear Liverpool colours or celebrate, or you risk being ejected with no refund.

A Liverpool hospitality purchase no longer counts as a match credit toward the members' sale; from 2026/27 hospitality credits have been removed.

Liverpool hospitality is open to anyone with no membership or credits required, is fully legitimate, and goes on sale well before regular tickets — but it is expensive and does not guarantee a specific game.
