Manchester United

For most Man Utd home games you need a membership (Premium, Official or Under-16) to buy official tickets. A few go on sale to the general public, like the Carabao Cup tie against Brighton and the first Champions League home game in 2026/27. Tickets are released in batches—either announced in advance or dropped randomly. Every membership gives you access to buy one ticket per match. To maximise your chances, stay alert for both scheduled drops and surprise releases. Our alerts help you track both in real time.

United release tickets in two main ways. First, scheduled sales, announced in advance, usually about eight weeks before the match. Second, later drops: after the first sale, United release tickets they held back, and season ticket holders return seats they can't use. These drops happen for every game, even the biggest ones. What you can't know is when. The biggest games go to a ballot first, but missing the ballot isn't the end, because drops still follow. Queues are randomised, so being early doesn't guarantee a place. Our alerts help you catch the drops.

You can buy hospitality directly from United. It usually costs a few hundred pounds, depending on the game and the package, and gets you a guaranteed seat, usually with food and lounge access. It's an official route and a genuine option for a big game, especially if you can't get a standard ticket.

Full season tickets are in extremely high demand, with a waiting list of 100,000+. The best shortcut? Get a Cup Season Ticket first—these are occasionally released after the season ends. If you're lucky, United may invite you to upgrade to a full one. We send alerts when Cup Season Tickets become available, giving you a real shot at starting the journey toward a full season ticket.
